Deepest sympathy on your loss. Barbara was a great nurse. She was a warm and caring person and loved her patients. She will
be missed.

Grandma was an amazing person to me. She took care of my sister and I a lot all these years. She was an incredible cook and she always loved celebrating all the holidays with us.

She was also a nurse who treated many people and children. She loved being a nurse and would talk about it with us. Whenever I got sick she would help us and bring us to the hospital.

She gave me a toy from the math game

She gave me a toy from the math game Prodigy for Christmas. I will treasure it always. I became quite inactive on the game since school ended. But, I started playing it again just today, using Magmischief on my team. Playing this game with the action figure she gave me helps to remind me of my grandma. I'm sure she would like this.

Barbara was the consummate professional leading the diabetes nursing team at Schneider Children's Hospital for many years. She was loved by her patients and colleagues alike, and will always be remembered.

Barbara taught me so much about caring for a patient who had diabetes when i was starting out in Nursing.

RIP, dear friend.
We shared a lot over the years and even when there were long stretches of separation, there would always be that surprise call to catch up.
You were an inspiration to many, and a kind heart to all.
You will always have a special place in our OLWA group.
